“What are your plans to celebrate when your book comes out?” they ask.

I very quickly realised that I have zero plans. Might take a bit of time off work but other than that I have no clue. What do other people do when their books are launched into the world?! Make a cake?

What people also fail to acknowledge in this discussion about the NHS not coping with autism/ADHD assessment demand is that the NHS is struggling to cope in general. It isn’t just autism/ADHD. People are turning to private healthcare more and more, in many areas of health.
