We are out today giving the greens a trim at 5mm then an liquid aeration application of rocastem sprayed afterwards.

Activity on the course -

All in preparation for the season opener this weekend -

Greens being sarrel rolled & applied with organic nutrition.

All teeing areas trimmed & solid tined with a 14mm tine.

Bunkers flymoed, strimmed & sand movement.

Fairways boxed & cut at 12mm.

New welfare facilities coming along nicely.

Painter putting there finishing touches to the place this week then it’s onto the plumber & joiner for the place to be kitted out 👍🏼👍🏼

22mm of rain so far and we have managed to give the surfaces a roll.

Firm, dry, puddle free & ready for play ⛳️

Busy week on the course

Getting an app of soilfix CaMg followed by rocastem before the heavy rain forecast.

Solid tine of the aprons is almost complete then it’s onto tees.

More greenside bunkers are also being edged, shaped & sand movement + top up where required.

Attention to detail is always important on the golf course.

Certain bunkers are being re-edged and topped up (also sand moved) where required.

This job is time consuming but important as over the years they decrease in size/shape due to sand build up.

Day 2 of micro coring certain greens.

Targeting the top 20-40mm of the main playing surfaces profile.

Also a cracking morning for a granular application to the tees heading towards the start of the main playing season ⛳️

Good spraying conditions for a little nutrition + strengthener on all the putting surfaces.

Nice clean, dry & firm cut on the fairways at 13mm.

All fairways will be sprayed with sulphate iron then terra raked if conditions allow & time is on our side.

Nice to be back competing this week in Portugal. Tied 17th finish in my first event of the year.
Plenty of positives to take after a busy winter making some changes. Look forward to getting back out competing again soon 💪🏻

Great effort again from the team. Reducing grass cube height and slight changes to landscaping work where required around the RHS bunker at the 10th.

This bunker is now ready for turfing & the bunker on the LHS will be the last to complete this winter.
