What happened here is that RTE Arena told award winning touring Palestinian Poet Rafeef Ziadah, here to perform at literary festivals and in our national theatre, that instead of being featured on their arts show she should try Clare Byrne who would be able to provide 'balance'.

It's been raining cats and dogs for hours, and the University of Sydney Gaza encampment is packed and defiant. If only the university's leaders had a fraction of students' moral clarity and principle.

tour with Phil Monsour is a privilege to see. Her work is moving & powerful, such a call to action for Palestine. It is a disgrace & an embarrassment that RTÉ's Arena disinvited & referred her elsewhere for 'balance', where is their integrity?
