Entrepreneurship friends: who has best data on new business formation (esp high potential business formation) outside the US (w/ roughly 40% rise since 2020)? Is there a similar trend in any other advanced economies?

Most satisfying part about teaching entrepreneurship: the students come back to tell you about their company. Met two groups this week working on their plan this summer, and heard from my old student at UCAD in Dakar that he is applying our course ideas to his new company there!

As is evident, median pay tracked aggregate productivity from 1948 to 1973. But then productivity rose 111% while median pay rose only 50%. What happened?

Most of you already know this, but golly Perplexity.AI has gotten very good almost entirely replaced Google search for me. Seems existential for Google's main business (I'd say same of avoiding low quality links, but they continue to inexplicably serve me Quora links).
