The motor of a pedal assisted ebike that conforms to UK law is no longer powered once the bike exceeds 16mph.
To put that in perspective, I can exceed 30mph downhill on an unpowered bike...

Personally I believe it is a human construct that serves only to separate us. We may as well define ourselves based on hair or eye colour.

So I left sevington after 6 hours last night .

The physical examination is almost designed to be intimidating . They escort you to a huge metal shed whenever two inspectors guide you in . The shutters then come down and you are told to wait in a cornered off area 1/

This feels like

(a) overkill when most schools already handle these issues v sensitively & engage w parents

(b) unrealistic if you’ve ever met a 9yo. Best preparation is age appropriate info from younger, esp on r’ships.

If you wrote a script where this happens *on the same day* that they claimed only they could protect the country from grave, unspecified security threats, it would be rejected for implausibility.

The Tories insisting that people IN WORK need to find more or better paid work in order to keep receiving their UC is absurd! Where are all these higher paid jobs going to come from! Also, who is going to do the jobs that these people have to leave to find more pay?
