Delighted that the fantastic Rachel Hopkins MP was re-elected as Chair of the APPG for sixth form education yesterday. A champion of Luton Sixth Form College and sixth form students across the country. Thank you Rachel! #ProtectStudentChoice

Among this fascinating report's findings is that 74% of people agree with the #protectstudentchoice campaign that sixth form students should be able to mix and match vocational and academic subjects. With BTECs, this is possible - but under current plans, it won't be from 2026.

Well it was definitely an early start today getting everything ready for the Biology conference. But I must say, after weeks of planning, putting together these wonderful packs for each student and an extensive marketing campaign it was worth every moment!

It might be half-term but our college is still in full swing! Today we are hosting our annual Biology Conference, headed up by our Science and Sport Department. With exam season around the corner, we want to give every student the opportunity to reach their full potential💪

Today it’s a shoutout to mas🧸 , a former BTEC acting student of the college and graduate of Italia Conti , for coming back to share his talents with us on Twelfth Night!

Last night, we held our first Iftaar event at the college- managed by our Student Council. A beautiful evening of good company, great food and the coming-together of our incredible college family.

We shared not just a meal, but a moment of connections and understanding. ❤️🌙

We were delighted to be joined by Pastor Alan West for our Easter Communion Service today. Thank you for joining us and thank you to those staff and students who attended.
