I’m in Riyadh today at the second UK-Saudi development dialogue. Together we are committed to:

Utterly appalled by the killing in South Darfur 🇸🇩 of two ICRC staff, and injuring of three more. Aid workers are not targets. Those responsible for this heinous act must be held to account.

As conflict escalates in El Fasher, the Sudanese Armed Forces & Rapid Support Forces demonstrate their disregard for human life.

The RSF and SAF must de-escalate, protect civilians, respect international humanitarian law, & spare Sudan from their wilful destruction and carnage.
