My last 4 leagues of Modern on MTGO

5-0 with Izzet prowess
5-0 with Izzet prowess
0-1 Drop with 60 islands
5-0 with Izzet Prowess

I have a deck of just basics to help fire challenges sometimes and I got fucked haha.

Never help people is the moral of the story

I had enough people ask me for it that I did a mini write-up and SB guide for Temur Ramp after my testing for The Canadian RC.

I finished 8-4-1, liked my plans and my list and have played a lot of the deck

$15 usd for the list and guide

DM's open for guide and questions

Watching Asha’s process and work has been a highlight of RC testing process. I was always interested in what they had to say because it was something you could trust. You should read this if you care about Esper Mid.

Eduardo Sajgalik I have never interacted with you before today….but I am a regular listener of The Karnies. @mengu09 and Anthony Lee speak very highly of you. I must say, I really expected more. There are things we all want in life, but at what cost? I value integrity more than most.

Hypothetical

Win and in for top 8 of RC

You and your opp make an agreement that if you go to time whoever is behind will concede so someone makes top 8.

Turns are over, you’re very far behind and instead of conceding you take the draw.

Do you think you’re a scumbag?

It felt like it was apparent in this tournament the difference between people who focus tested with other skilled players and players who just jammed there deck on Arena and MTGO leagues and challenges. Could tell who had the tuned sb and plans.

Good practice=good results.

Shoutout to Omar Beldon. Was sick to work closely on a deck with you. I envy a lot of your process leading up to tournaments and hope to emulate some of that going forward.

8-4-1 Montreal regional with Temur lands.

I liked my list and my preparation.

I think there was two games minimum where I felt like I had the tools to win but didn’t.

My draw was unfortunate. I was decently far ahead but this format is slow.

Gonna keep my process up.

Coverage this weekend was sick.

One of my favourite things was seeing how clean and beautiful the Japanese mechanics and board states are and how absolutely abysmal some other players were. It is so insanely rough to play against or watch people with sloppy ass board states.

That Analyst player is going to rack up some draws. Mechanically way too sloppy for a deck that requires clear communication and to shortcut where you can.
