Even with all the cloud that we had today it was the warmest day of the year so far for the East Mids. 19.6C in Derbyshire, 18.7C Nottingham and 19.1C Leicestershire. Similar temperatures expected tomorrow and we should get a little more sunshine.

A big shout out to University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS FT for the exemplary care we received earlier this week when my youngest was admitted for a few days to Puffin Ward. From the A&E team to the ward staff thank you. I was so tired when I left I was calling it a hotel! That’s how caring you were 💙

What a day, lots of rain for some and snow for others including me and my 🐶
Altitude and temperature played a huge part in what you got today. What was it like where you are?

The time and area for Thursday's weather warning for snow has changed.

The zone has been trimmed to the north of the midlands now but it could always change again as we approach Thursday.

Still a risk of seeing some snow south of zone perimeter ❄️

Areas of mild and cold air will have a tussle over the UK next week.

Colder conditions are likely to win out later in the week, with the chance of wintry weather increasing too.

Will you see snow? ...bbc.in/4bnh7ok
