Today is the anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision in Brown v. Board of Education, which struck down the idea that separate could ever be equal. I was honored to join NAACP's recognition at Smithsonian’s NMAAHC.

We still have a long way to go towards true justice and equity.

Union educators in Mesa before last night's board meeting! Thanks to their organizing and the meet and confer bargaining process, Mesa teachers are getting a 4% raise. This is how we keep experienced staff in the classroom and ensure the best experience for our kids. Nice work!

This latest report from the Brookings Institute confirms what we knew all along — the ESA program lacks accountability and transparency. Arizonans deserve to know their money is spent on educating students, not handouts to unaccountable programs.
