This is incredible — five Afghan refugees who were relocated to Brattleboro #VT were members of the art collective ArtLords in Afghanistan. Their murals were whitewashed by the Taliban. The group of five is going to recreate some of them in Brattleboro.

Right now my town, Brattleboro VT, is covered in temporary murals by members of the Afghan art collective ArtLords, five members of whom are among the refugees who were relocated here. The works incorporate photos of murals destroyed by the Taliban following the evacuation.
