The epic #Train2EGU journey is underway. Having left Cambridge at 5.30am, we’ve just left Frankfurt bound for Vienna and #EGU24
We’ll be promoting the latest results from Antarctica and International Thwaites Glacier Collaboration with more updates during the week ❄️🐧
Thanks to our 120+ colleagues for completing carbon literacy training to understand the impact of climate change and learn the tools to combat it.
As a result, BAS is now certified as a Bronze Carbon Literate organisation by The Carbon Literacy Project!

Last night the Governor welcomed some of the crew of the Falklands-flagged Royal Research Ship Sir David Attenborough before they departed for Antarctica this morning.
The #Falklands and British Antarctic Survey has built a strong relationship over the years.
