A man's been arrested on suspicion of rape following reports of an incident in #Cheadle .
Officers were called to an address in the town shortly after 4am on Friday, after a report that a woman had been raped. A 53 y/o man was arrested & he's been released on bail.

Fire crews have tackled a blaze involving a van in #Crewe in the early hours. It broke out on the driveway of a house on Neville Street. The blaze also caused some damage to the property. Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service say its believed to have been started deliberately.

Two men have been arrested after almost 250 cannabis plants were discovered at a Stoke-on-Trent address. Police carried out a warrant near Brownhills Road in Tunstall just before 7.45am yesterday.
