The band described tonight’s show as them being ‘at their most vulnerable’ with the album out in just a few hours time and the music being stripped back.

It suited them.

Songs full of ideas and interest. The English Teacher LP is top of my list to play in about 4 hours time!

Last night’s Eurovision Pre-Party was FUN!

Baby Lasagna (Croatia) unsurprisingly got the biggest crowd reaction

But all the artists were good + some who I had discounted before (Estonia, Malta) definitely won me over

Next up: The main event on the TV! #LEP2024 #Eurovision2024

“Oh hi Rough Trade can you tell me about this new underground genre I’ve heard of. I think it’s called ‘Hot Stuff’. Do you have any records in?”

Tonight I went to see an indie 80s covers band (called Indie 80s).

They played ‘Shine On’ by The House of Love.

I always thought that song was synonymous with the 90s.

Turns out it was first released in 1987!

My music geek knowledge failed tonight!
