1/2 What a historic moment! Brandon M. Scott signed our Inclusionary Housing Package into law this afternoon! I’m humbled by the QB Lamar Jackson comparison. Thank you to the advocates…
This afternoon, I was joined by Odette Ramos, Nick J. Mosby, housing advocates, and community leaders to sign into law Council Bills 22-0195 and 23-0369.
Thank you Brandon M. Scott Council Prez Nick J. Mosby & Councilwoman Odette Ramos, who steered the bills to passage. And much gratitude to the amazing Inclusionary Housing Coalition Baltimore & everyone who joined in pushing #Baltimore toward becoming a more equitable & inclusive City!
What a pleasure it was to spend an afternoon with the amazing Aaron Maybin celebrating his art installation of the Diary Of A Mad Black Man exhibition at the Frederick Douglass Issac Meyers Museum!
Congratulations Aaron!!
Our list of folks who helped make Council President Nick J. Mosby's 3rd annual Toy Drive a HIT last night is way too long for one post. But just know we are so very grateful to everyone who came out and donated, performed, and shared a great night with us!
We are one week away from Council President Nick J. Mosby's 3rd Annual Toy Drive & Holiday Celebration and we need your help to make this holiday special for Baltimore City Youth by donating non-violent toys for children ages 2-12 years old!
Engines 29 and 46 have been through excruciating heartbreak in the last few months. Council President Nick J. Mosby & VP Sharon G. Middleton were happy to bring some food and enjoy a peaceful afternoon with these firehouse families.
Our Council President Nick J. Mosby joined T.J. Smith on WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and FM 101.5 today to explain the simplicity and importance of local control: our city taxpayers and the elected officials they vote for should have more say in the policies of the police department serving our city.
