In a moment of self-pity during a very bad day, I asked my best friend: what do you call someone who rarely has anything go right, brings it on themselves, & still wonders 'why me?' I'm thinking...'pathetic' (for me anyway). His response...'cursed.' He had to go & make me laugh.

It's just my opinion, but some of the positive affirmations I've been reading lately sound more like 'you must do these to be a better person' commands. I'm feeling very, very inadequate now, because I can't do them.

I know this isn't really mental health related, but I just have to say. My SIL usually posts everything in Spanish. I'm so grateful for Google Translate so I don't have to be an idiot and keep asking her what she's saying. Now, I just need one that translates Teenager. 🤣
