A shipment containing 46,360 brand-new books has left our warehouse bound for Rwanda, bringing the total number of books sent this year to 527, 303!

This #internationaldayofthemidwife we'd like to share Ridwan's story with you.

Ridwan trained as a midwife at Edna Adan University Hospital in Somaliland, where she now teaches. When she was studying there weren't many books in the library and those they did have were very old.

But now, thanks to your support, both she and her students have a library full of books. She shared how having access to brand-new books is making a huge difference to her and to the medical students she teaches every year.
