Today was #BotsIQ 's first Girls Exploring Manufacturing event! Over 20 girls came to PennWest California to learn about careers in #manufacturing while working with PLCs and pneumatic circuits! Support for this event was made possible by the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.
Yesterday was a very busy day for #BotsIQ ! We ran a #MFGexplore Industrial Designer lesson at Life_STEAM and at Marshall Middle School, building catapults using 3D pens, as well as a different 3D pen activity at Ringgold Elementary School South where students in 3rd-4th grade got to make pencil toppers!
Over the last three months a teacher from Kiski Area SD has been using the #BotsIQ #CobotChallenge kits for a school club. Mr. Nicholas came to one a Teacher Training Day at the TEC, and brought our program back with him! Thank you to Westmoreland-Fayette WIB for supporting this program!
Today was #RoboRecharge pitch day at Derry Middle School! Over 150 students participated in the program, and today seven of the best pitches faced a panel of industry professionals from Aggressive Grinding and L&S Machine Company!

Yesterday was the Inglis #RemakeDays event with Remake Learning! #BotsIQ joined in and learned about the techniques used to build accessible products like game controllers and toys! Thank you to everyone who joined in, and we hope to see you all again at future events!
Last Wednesday, students from Baldwin-Whitehall visited the #BotsIQ TEC for #RoboRecharge Pitch Day! Tomorrow, even more students from their school will be here to show off their robotic designs, and we can't wait!

#BotsIQ 's internship program starts today! This year we have nine talented students placed at seven companies as summer interns.
