wow - I was shocked to learn of how entrenched gender inequality is in Iceland. Given the significantly high labour workforce one would think they'd value and support women when they may experience crisis or hardship

12 beds would be fine if there were only 12 women experiencing homelessness...

There are an estimated 1,272 homeless people in Iceland. 29% are women so that's 367 women potentially needing this service.

People who use drugs are more likely to experience housing difficulties due to criminalisation and social exclusion.
