Many of our citizens live in council housing. With only 1.6% of people with learning disability in paid employment, owning a house is not a realistic prospect. Getting repairs done is already hard. What will it be like after the cuts? #BirminghamCityCouncil

Kirsty is concerned that the lack of services after the cuts will leave people with nowhere to go. They could lose all their confidence again, like after lockdown, and serious problems will not get solved because they don't see anyone to help them.

There is a lot of concern among our citizens about what the cuts in Birmingham will mean for them. Mark is particularly concerned about whether those who need visits from support workers will still get them. #BirminghamCityCouncil #LearningDisability #Advocacy
