Whilst our brood of baby ducklings have been real visitor favourites this weekend, there are new beginnings all around the Garden, with fresh turf being laid in the Systematic Beds, vibrant flowers blossoming & trees coming into leaf.

The delicate, bell-shaped flowers of the pasque flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris), named from the French word for Easter, have appeared right on queue for the Easter weekend. This British native is now quite rare in the UK, restricted to just a few chalk and limestone grasslands.
