Unfortunately I had to cancel my plans of going to Eugene, Oregon this upcoming week to watch the CAL BEARS Golf Team play in the Pac-12 Golf Championship. But I will be following the action on golfstat.com. Go Bears !

Something is odd with golfstat re the Ka'anapali Collegiate which had a shotgun start. It shows that some players have finished 13 holes and others only 4 holes. What's up ?

Cal Men's Golf Team @ the Carpet Capital Invitational in Georgia: Seb Crampton, Kaiwen Liu, Joseph Chun, KK, & Ben Doyle (Collin Morikawa is away at the World Amateur Team Championship in Ireland). The tournament starts on Friday with a very competitive field of teams. Go Bears!

I enjoyed watching the U.S. Amateur Golf Championship Semifinals and Finals on FOX TV over the weekend. The play by all 4 players on Saturday was truly amazing! The criticism of FOX for its announcers talking too much was ridiculous, & it was great that there were no commercials.
