A sad day indeed. As we mourn the loss of Lance Corporal Jack Fitzgibbon my thoughts & prayers are with Jack’s family & loved ones as well as his mates at 2 CDO, across Special Operations Command & our Army. Our priority now is supporting the Fitzgibbon family & Jack’s mates.

Today I had the privilege to host our Jonathan Church Good Soldiering Award recipients in Canberra. I’m immensely proud of the strength of character of this year’s recipients.
