The response was an indirect YES, redirecting to the WHO’s statement.
'This does not mean the pandemic itself is over...'

Why can't the UKHSA simply respond 'YES'?

Let’s remember this is a situation that was entirely overlooked at the start of the pandemic, largely dismissed & ignored in the middle of it, and now treated as if the cause is historical & not ongoing.

So, yeah, it’s a public health failure.

1. You should make adjustments for elderly & cev patients because their health matters also.
2. It’s sad there is so little awareness of also becoming vulnerable from long covid.

World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific Thank you for supporting vulnerable people who still need to mask.

Please could you encourage the use of #BetterMasks : FFP2 / N95; FFP3 / N99.

The blue surgical masks in the image are not so protective from airborne infections in populated spaces when the ventilation is poor.
