Jeff Boyd took advantage of his graduate transfer season here at The Citadel, battling his way to a silver medal at the The Southern Conference Championship en route to an AQ bid for the NCAA Wrestling Championships...what a season for the grad student!

With an 11-1 major decision loss in the consolation bracket, The Citadel rep Jeff Boyd bows out of the NCAA Wrestling Championships.

The grad student headlined his season w/ a silver-medal finish SoCon finish en route to an appearance on the national stage!

In classic Jeff Boyd fashion, the grad student took his opening bout down to the wire...unfortunately, a triple-overtime takedown doomed Boyd en route to a 5-8 (TB-1) decision, dropping him into the NCAA Wrestling Consolation Bracket.
