An interesting tidbit – since 2021 four collegiate men (Hocker, Nuguse, Davis, Waskom) have finished top-three in the 1500m final.

Over the same time frame only three collegiate women (Heymach, Gregory, Wiley) have made the final, with Wiley’s 5th being the highest finish.
