I still don't understand why so many GPs and other medics on Twitter appear so relaxed/indifferent about people being infected with #COVID19 before a vaccine was available and dying unnecessarily. Why did these people become medics if not to save lives?

The greatest irony of the pandemic for me is that many of the protective measures instituted against covid were successful enough that people became convinced they weren't necessary in the first place.

I really don't understand 'I could never ever vote Labour, I just CAN'T' without a second's thought or consideration. What was it about 1997-2010 that was so unbearable? Seeing a GP? Having a dentist? Minimum wage? A good welfare system? Schools being built? Kids being fed? What?

If Liz Truss's government can be overthrown by a bond market coup then so can any future #Labour government. That is why the #Labour Party needs to embrace #MMT .
