Child-sex offenders have no place working with children - and new legislation will help ensure that people charge or convicted of child sex offences will no longer be permitted to work with or manage children.

Today I will be joining the Tammy Franks MLC in co-sponsoring a motion in the Legislative Council calling on the government to establish a Royal Commission into Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence, backed by the Liberal opposition Michelle Lensink.

Child sex offenders have NO place working with our kids. That’s why today the Attorney-General Kyam Maher MLC, SDA Secretary Josh Peak and I announced new laws that will be introduced into parliament this week set to keep kids safe at work.
