Wow! What a bank holiday weekend it’s been for our team!

From Bodmin to Bideford, and Camborne to Salcombe our teams have been out and about in their local communities supporting a whole ton of activities, making roads safer and being there during times of need!

Together with our friends from DCP East Cornwall Specials We’re set up on Lemon Quay in Truro as part of the Truro volunteers day.

Our teams get the chance to perform some hugely varied duties but patrolling across Bodmin moor in the ATV has got to be one of the best! 😍

We don’t volunteer for praise & awards but it was great to be recognised by Truro Civic Society on Friday with a Civic Award for the service our Truro team deliver to the City.

Another Saturday, another attestation…. 👮👮‍♂️

Fantastic to see another brilliant group of trainee SCs formally getting their policing powers and heading out to stations accross Devon & Cornwall Police.

Some of them were so keen they did their first shifts over the weekend! Brilliant! 🤩

A great few hours with the Truro, Perranporth and Tregony Police Neighbourhood team carrying out speed checks in hot spot 20mph zones which people have complained about speeding in!

Lots of words of advice given but this new driver chose to drive 31mph in a 20 zone without insurance or tax!

Vehicle stopped in Plymouth for having no insurance, driver reported and owner reported for the offence of Permitting.
Knowingly allowing a driver to drive your vehicle with no insurance could lead to a visit to court and your vehicle will be seized.
