I domt see any wisdom in paying subsidy for 'hajj' either by the FG or State Governments except otherwise there is an obligation to do that in the event of one party's failure to deliver. In Islam, pilgrimage is a matter of affluance, babu talauchi a harkan aikin hajji.

Its disheartening to see how political power is been coersed into findimg an equilibrium with Non State Actors for them to at least deliver dividend of democracy. The worst is when the Federal Arm is lackadaisical on the matter.
