Sometimes, the “sloppy drunks” you write off as a hindrance or the dregs of society are people in pain who are trying to self-medicate to alleviate it. They could be playing Russian roulette, with the next shot possibly being a loaded one. They’re drinking themselves to death.

I don't know about the 8 days but I went from an alcohol-soaked youth to a very occasional drinker with moderate depression: I can verify a few drinks are usually followed by a few days of depression.

I had some leftover after I filled all my bottles. Very young but better than any hard cider I have ever bought.

Starting my next batch tomorrow.
