My brilliant, courageous, and beautiful wife has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She has a long, hard road ahead, but we trust God. May he bless and comfort her as she endures this terrible trial.

My friend Yascha Mounk told me that this was a great speech, but still my hopes were low.

Now I'm crying - in the bitterest times, to see someone stand up for the right and the good - and to do it with such power and beauty. I need to be posting this and not my own anger.

Ukraine needs massive amounts of munitions.
Israel needs highly specific technologies.
Ukraine needs long-term reconstruction programs.
Israel needs short-term humanitarian cash.
Ukraine needs entry to the EU.
Israel needs peace from its neighbors.
There's no conflict here.

This has been a heartbreaking and horrific week, but inadvertently, it’s also been a useful one. We on the Right are learning about a whole crop of anti-Semites whose opinions, commentary, and lack of moral compass should be disregarded and discarded into the ash heap of history

This conclusion absolutely matches my experience. There is a kind of learned helplessness that has set in with some of our kids, cultivated by well-meaning adults who sometimes seem to seek their kids' emotional and physical protection above all.

Important piece by David French showing there is a way - incredibly difficult and dangerous - for Israel to eliminate Hamas while still observing international law.
