Monitoring at Deepdale Farm brought more of this years young, with 27 birds processed including juvenile Blackcap, Chiff-chaff and Whitethroat. Afterwards a survey of the fields north of the A149 produced 185 Ruddy Darters BTO Deepdale Farm British Dragonfly Society Iceni Bird Monitoring Group

Species 6,773: Trybliographa diaphana from Deepdale Farm in May. This tiny wasp is a parasitoid of the crop 'pest' fly Delia platura (which was also v common at Deepdale). So a natural pest-control agent. Not the quickest of things to ID though.
