Peggy the rare-breed Landrace pig has welcomed five piglets to Valentin's Education Farm, where children learn about where food comes from and how to look after animals. Welcome to the piglets!

🐮 Farm Fridays! On Fridays in May, we are celebrating the latest new arrivals on the estate. The Vaynol cow is among the rarest in the UK, with fewer than 150 breeding animals remaining, and we have welcomed 11 to Home Farm in recent weeks.

This stunning ceiling centrepiece in The Library at Dumfries House was designed by School of Traditional Arts students.

The glass you see here was locally-blown in Ayr, near to Dumfries House estate.

Participants of our Knitwise programme have donated over 100 knitted nests to benefit animals at Hessilhead Wildlife and Rescue Centre.

This project follows on from last year when we worked with the centre to reintroduce hedgehogs to the estate.
