Two of our staff members from Apopka joined our Pierson office to help with gardening! A community member from Pierson, who has always been supportive of our community garden, brought in watermelons and cantaloupes from her garden to be planted in the community garden.

Thank you, Stetson University, for visiting our Pierson office! During the visit, we also talked about the challenging conditions that farmworkers face and shared ways to raise awareness on how we can help farmworkers. The students also helped us greatly in our community garden!
