So Merton Council are you going to follow Wandsworth Council lead and make a statement about Zippos circus damage to #WimbledonPark on 6th May and the allegation by a local resident of pouring mobile toilet sewage down a street gulley as they left the site noisily throughout the night ?

Wandsworth Council And Zippos trucks made deep wheel ruts in #WimbledonPark as they left the site late on Monday 6 May (keeping local residents awake). A resident also reported them allegedly pouring mobile toilet sewage into a road gulley, which will flow into brooks, river and lake.

Unfortunately Merton Council have scheduled Zippos Circus which will close the Wimbledon Park Road car park 28 April to 6 May - at the same time as our work is going on in the Revelstoke Road car park (several car park spaces will be out of action while a new hedge is created).

We need to think more each day about what legacy we are leaving.
What will your legacy be Wimbledon? An 8000 seat stadium, 38 tennis courts instead of 100's mature trees.
