Don’t listen to her, just look at this graph. That’s the answer to every question about this baffling decision. The line stopped going up, and the line can never, ever, stop going up, even if it jumped up by unprecedented numbers to an obviously unsustainable level.

You can learn Golang in an hour or so, and be productive after an afternoon. Not so with C#. The problem with writing code isn't the typing. It's understanding what to write and consequently, what is written when you read it.
Adding more syntax to reduce typing helps neither.

Very concerned by efforts to scare activists away from transparent, verifiably secure messaging like Signal.

When you see a coordinated effort to herd people towards opaque & less secure messaging...ahem Telegram...question the intentions.
