پاکستان میں 4 سال گزارنے کے بعد اسے یوم آزادی پر خیر باد کہنا میرے لئے بہت غمگین تھا۔ میں نے یہاں قیام کے دوران لوگوں کی مہمان نوازی اپنی توقع سے کئی زیادہ پائی۔ میرے ساتھ اس سفر میں شریک ہونے کیلئے آپ سب کا شکریہ۔ 🇵🇰 ہمیشہ میرے دل میں رہے گا! اب اگلے سال مجھے 🥭 کون بھیجوائے گا؟

پاکستان میں میرے قیام کی ایک اور خاص یاد: یہاں کی شادیاں! بازاروں میں خریداری، لباس کی تلاش، رقص کی مشقیں اور ڈھیر ساری تصاویر کھنچوانا، یہ سب ایک بہت دلچسپ تجربہ رہا۔ اب مجھے جرمنی واپس جا کر ان 🇵🇰 جوڑوں کو پہننے کا مناسب موقع تلاش کرنا ہے۔ آپ کے پاس اس حوالے سے کوئی تجویز ہے؟

So another highlight of my stay: #Pakistani weddings are a whole vibe - from going shopping to the markets to find the right outfits, learning the dances and and posing for a lot of pictures. Now I just have to find the right occasion to wear my 🇵🇰 clothes back home…any ideas?

جانتے ہیں مجھے پاکستان میں رہتے ہوئے اور کیا کیا پسند آیا؟ یہاں کے مختلف مذہبی مقامات کو دریافت کرنے کا موقع! دنیا کے مشہور صوفی مزارات سے لے کر حیرت انگیز طور پر خوبصورت پرانے ہندو مندر اور کالاش کی دلکش ثقافت! #پاکستان کی یہ یادیں زندگی بھر میرے ساتھ رہیں گی 🇵🇰 🤍

What else I loved about living in #Pakistan ? Discovering the different religious sites - from world famous Sufi shrines to stunningly beautiful old Hindu temples to learning about the fascinating culture of the Kalash - memories made in #Pakistan that will last me a lifetime 🇵🇰🤍

یہ میرا 🇵🇰 میں آخری ہفتہ ہے جس کے بعد میں 🇩🇪 واپس چلی جاؤں گی تو کیوں نہ اس ہفتے آپ سے اپنی کچھ من پسند یادیں شیئر کروں؟ پہلے 🇵🇰 کے میرے کچھ پسندیدہ ثقافتی مقامات: ٹھٹھہ کی خوبصورتی سے لے کر ملتان کے متاثرکن مزارات اور پھر لاہور کے قدیم ثقافتی ورثے۔ ایک ٹویٹ میں اتنی حسین یادیں!

Since it’s my last week at the embassy before moving back to 🇩🇪 I’ll tweet about some of my favourite memories.First,discovering 🇵🇰cultural sights - from stunning Tattha to the spectacular shrines of Multan to the cultural wonderland Lahore. Too many memories to fit in one tweet!

بالآخر یہ زبردست قلعہ دیکھنے کا موقع ملا جسے عظیم دیوارسندھ بھی کہا جاتا ہے اور اس کا شمار دنیا کے بڑے قلعوں میں ہوتا ہے! تپتی دھوپ بھی ان خوبصورت نظاروں سے لطف اندوز ہونے سے مجھے نہ روک سکی🥵۔ کیا آپ اس جگہ کا نام جانتے ہیں؟ اور آپ کے خیال میں میں اس کے بعد میں کہاں جا رہی ہوں؟

Finally discovered this magical fort which is nicknamed “The Great Wall of Sindh” and thought to be one of the biggest forts in the world!! The amazing views made climbing it even in the heat worth it 🥵. Do you know its name? And where do you think I headed next?

پاکستان میں آج بھی بہت کچھ پہلی بار کرنے کو ملتا ہے: میں نے بلآخر سلیپر ٹرین میں سفر کر لیا! کھڑکی سے بدلتے مناظر دیکھنا بے حد پسند آیا، اور سروس اور کھانے کی تو کیا ہی بات تھی (اگرچہ پلاسٹک کا استعمال زرہ زیادہ تھا)۔ کیا آپ نے کبھی 🇵🇰 میں ٹرین کا سفر کیا ہے؟

There are still firsts for me travelling in Pakistan: I finally travelled on a sleeper train!! Loved the experience of seeing the landscape go by the window and have to say the service and food were excellent (just too much plastic) . Have you travelled on a train in 🇵🇰?
