Spare a thought for Matthew Robinson, an ex- #mufc forward, born today in 1907. Matt joined from Cardiff in 1931, playing 10 games before the end of the year. But with no goals to show, he moved on to Chester the next year. Matthew Robinson died in August 1987, aged 80. RIP

Remember ex- #mufc forward, Andrew Mitchell, born today in 1907. Andrew moved to OT in 1932 for £600 from Darlington. He only played 1 game. He was then put on the transfer list & moved to fellow 2nd Division side, Hull City, in 1933. Andrew passed away in 1971, aged 64. RIP.

Remember William Robertson, born today in 1907. The Scottish right half joined us from Stoke in 1934. William was part of the #mufc side that won the 2nd Division in 1935/36 but was sold to Reading after 50 matches and a solitary goal. William Robertson passed away in 1980. RIP
