My very close friend Alex Schier Alex waited three years after being elected to the NAS in 2020, saying he would get inducted to the national Academy of science when I do. Here I am with him and Moses Chao. Three amigos who started back in the Skirball Institute NYU Langone Health ♥️

Hmmm....the conservation across areas of ipsilateral information through callosal fibers is intriguing. Turns out we can compensate for the time-lag in both sound and sight!

So for all of you, who can't get enough of somatostatin interneurons [include me in that group] here is a terrific study from Jonathan Green, and Chris Harvey about how somatostatin cells contribute to error prediction in posterior parietal cortex. Very cool stuff!
