Wild Cooking x Forest Garden Care! 🙌

Yesterday in the forest garden our volunteers built structural support for our wine + loganberries and extended our ‘dead hedge’, creating important habitats for insects and small mammals.

Then soup + bread cooked over a fire of course.😊

We've teamed up with People's Kitchen to offer healthy food boxes to families eligible for Healthy Start Vouchers. They can be collected on 13 February at Smallwood Children's Centre, #Tooting , between 09:30 and 11:30am. For more info, contact us or Brixton People's Kitchen!

Upcyling + carpentry session 😍! This morning, our team of volunteers transformed disused wooden pallets into new compost bays for our forest garden.

This'll help us to recycle more green waste from campus into nutrient-rich fertilizer for our growing beds. No waste here! 😁

For a number of reasons we're postponing todays demo until next Monday (6th Feb). Apologies for any inconvenience and hope to see you next week! 💚

Growhampton's officially out of winter hibernation and on this cold winter morning, our volunteer harvest team gathered some pak choi, broccoli rabe (rapini) and parsley.
