So interesting. So many similarities to BSL, especially the “bad” sign, seen in “criticise”, “guilty”, “I’m wrong”, what else hmm 🤔

Basically that says “try harder”.

I’m tired of - every year it’s focuses on what mentally ill people aren’t doing enough of, it’s individualised, what about what the government has done to people? Cuts to services, healthcare, benefits & poor housing. 😞

Install the 999 BSL app, it’s a way deaf BSL users can call 999 in BSL.

If you have deaf service users who struggle with tech and have a smart phone, help them to download it & show them videos on 999 BSL website.

To me it’s wild that NHS England shared this without captions on the video during deaf awareness week.

This film explains why so many people feel upset about cures for deafness : The End (Zoom Focus 2011) bslzone.co.uk/watch/zoom-foc…

As a Deafblind person I wondered if I would enjoy whale watching, typically a visual experience. So grateful our tour guides took the time to plan a multisensory, inclusive Alaskan adventure! Descriptive transcript: habengirma.com/2024/05/09/ala…
