35 yrs ago today I started at CBC. 35 yrs in news and current affairs. I can barely fathom where the time has gone. It has been a privilege. In challenging times I still believe in public broadcasting, and to quote Stephen Sondheim 'I'm still here.' 🇨🇦

So, pet store gave us free yogurt 'pupsicles' for the girls to try. Lily (L) wolfs hers down and throws up all over the people bed. Then Daisy decides to help 'clean up.' So fighting off the 'help' while stripping the bed & trying not to slip on what fell off... I've earned a 🍷

Spending the afternoon listening to my close friend interview her 99-year-old aunt about her life. The woman remembers names, dates, addresses, and emotions in precise detail. She is lovely and amazing. What an honour to hear about all the adventures she and her sister had.
