A 43 year old woman has gone missing in Witham.

Farah Qurashi was last seen at 2pm yesterday, after saying she was going for her regular walk.

Her route includes the River Walk & out of Witham along the River Blackwater & wooded areas.

Anyone who sees her should call 101.

On this day, 1919 Dr Kathleen Lynn co-founded Saint Ultan's Hospital for Infants in Dublin, with a group of female activists. Saint Ultan's was the only hospital in Ireland entirely managed by women and was central to the roll-out of BCG (tuberculosis) vaccination in the 1930’s.
