Since the The SNP entered the Scottish Government they have made child hunger 'one of their number one' policies, by introducing Free school meals for all children in P1-P5. ensuring that no child goes hungry and helping family finances – saving families around £400 per child per year.👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Is Russia an ally of Iran or a proxy?
Surprising that not a single mention of Russia on this mornings programme.

On my way to Edinburgh for the @edscifest, looking out of the train window and thinking of that wonderful William McGonagall poem:

“Upon a hill,
I saw a coo.
It's nae there noo”

Labour left £740bn of debt in 2010, and we have halved it to only £4.5tn in 14 years, a sign our economic plan is working

Not exactly a great advert for why top level executives think they should earn big bonuses etc today when they don’t seem to be across what’s going on in their organisations

It seems to me that all the senior Mail & Post management have been taking their enormous salaries and bonuses without understanding or caring their business. They will eventually lay all blame on the board room tea ladies.

News today that US inflation is on the rise again. Will that trend appear in the UK over the next few months? Probably.
Sunak may preempt that and call an election sooner than planned.

Look at Tesco profits announced today. £billions increase on last year. Profiteering by supermarkets, energy, oil, banks....... is the reason we have inflation and closing pubs.

Today, watching the proceedings I got the distinct impression that our judiciary is really pissed off with government and POL.
When Ken Clarke got rid of legal aid his plan was to enable the rich to subjugate the poor.

Ken Murphy is Tesco’s UK CEO and the highest paid supermarket boss.

He gets £4,740,000 a year, but is registered to pay tax in the Republic of Ireland.

Not a penny of his outrageous salary is collected in tax, despite almost all Tesco’s earnings coming from the UK.

It’s theft.

These incredible profits do point to the fact that the cost of living crisis and inflation were caused by profiteering, not wages.
The population has been impoverished.
Banks, energy, supermarkets, oil Co's have all made fortunes.

Tesco profits up 159% to £2.3bn. In other words, Britain's biggest supermarket chain used the cost of living crisis as a pretext for blatant profiteering.

We're told pensions are 'unsustainable', the Post Office is 'unsustainable' and now that the NHS is 'unsustainable'. They were all entirely sustainable before the private sector starting looting the public sector.
