Agree idea that #Iran intended ZERO #Israel |i military deaths or targets destroyed is not highly plausible.

There was probably some level it would have found acceptable, but failed due to a host of factors (including telegraphing attack, skill of adversary air defense, etc.)

Iran chose a suboptimal military option in terms of damage. Had Iran wanted to inflict more damage, it would have made more use of Hezbollah, Islamic Resistance of Iraq, & its assets in Syria.

But Iran did intend to hit certain targets in Israel like Nevatim.
