To be clear, due to decisions taken by Sunak during the first few years of the pandemic, we lost billions to fraud, billions to dodgy Covid contracts and 1000s of businesses closed. He failed the nation as chancellor just as he has failed as PM!

Farrukh Apart from that, the current NHS bill is so high because the government is purposely spending high amounts on private services instead of investing the money in in-house staff and facilities. £2000 a shift agency nurses for example.

Farrukh How much of that 180 billion pounds is paid on delivery of direct services to NHS patients and how much to private health care contracts their CEO and shareholders also,I guess you include the botched payment for infected blood and other health scandals

Unelected bureaucrat Shaun Bailey who threw a party during covid restrictions and now sits in the House of Lords and on GB News,

'We already give the NHS £180 billion, where are you going to get the extra money from (to bring down NHS waiting lists)?'

Mr Sunak. One more thing. There’s something bothering me. You gloat about spending hundreds of £billions on Covid & energy bills which put up taxes. Then criticise the opposition wanting to rebuild broken public services and say it would increase taxes. Are you a hypocrite, sir?

'The owner of South West Water (SWW) has said it could pay out up to £3.5m in compensation to customers'.

So we're kind of maybe going to pay customers £3.5m for poisoning them but we've still paying our shareholders £127m.

Well that's all right then.

So I've now identified a second hi-vis jacket-wearing man, who asked Rishi Sunak a question this morning, as local Conservative Councillor Ben Hall-Evans.

Hall-Evans was the first person to be called for a question with no mention of who he was bylinetimes.com/2024/05/23/ris…

Wow! Simon Case explains that test and trace worked in countries like Germany because they kept cases down, but because we had so many covid cases in the UK, our test and trace system was ineffective

For the unaware, when Cabinet Secretary Simon Case worked for Prince William, Prince Harry nicknamed him 'The Fly' and described him as follows in Spare:
'The Fly had spent much of his career adjacent to, and indeed drawn to, shit.'

He has a way with words.

Water companies in England and Wales want bills to increase by 24% to 91% over the next five years.

OFWAT likely to approve at least 50% of that - exploitation, dividends and misery will continue.

End the scam. Nationalise water.
