When I observe how polarized and far from reality the debate on pro-Palestinians demonstrations is and how the extreme right is now manipulating it, I fear what will happen during the electoral campaign this fall and after. Democracy is fragile.

A senior police officer is not a politician, and should never spread groundless conspiracy theories. It undermines trust in the impartiality and loyalty of police. Worrying if Trump and the extreme right win in the fall.
