This is another extremely irritating technique - talking over the other guest to time out the interview and prevent the other side from being heard.

I find it deeply unpersuasive but many seem to think it signifies strength and 'winning'...

Listening now to the full account of the 'openly Jewish' incident it is apparent that Gideon Falter was angling for an incident just like this. And an officer eventually provided it. Worth looking at the CST statement

Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Israel's military will soon step up its attacks on Hamas.

The Israeli PM said further painful blows against the terror group were needed in the coming days to secure the release of Israelis who are being held hostage.

Jon W 🇮🇱 Metropolitan Police If someone is seen, with camera crew (and security - I'm assuming that's what the guy in sunglasses is doing there), to be walking in opposition to a march, and then tries to walk through that march, it becomes quite apparent that this person is there to provoke a reaction.

With context, I can now speak. Falter is again trying to divide the police and the Jews. He's been seen to walk in opposition to the march rather than cross the road as he claims he's been trying to do. The arrest threat is appropriate. The CAA is a joke.

Jessica Simor KC Shouldn't he rather than the police apologise? Despite every effort by the officer he still wanted to cut across the march. The officer's reaction would be the same if someone wearing a keffiyeh insisted on crossing a pro-Israeli march and rightly so.

Jessica Simor KC Steve Powers As we were walking, I saw a group of 5 or so people walking towards us (two looked like bouncers/bodyguards). I was confused until he literally walked into the peaceful protestors head on. It was clearly a provocative and orchestrated move and the police got involved swiftly…

Jessica Simor KC Imagine instead of a protest, it had been a few 1000 football fans (pick a random team). Now imagine an individual dressed in a rivals shirt. Can he just cross the road? Possibly, but a decent copper would stop him and advise of a l”long way” round, to ensure his safety

This is important. I’ve often been told by police to take a wide diversion to go to get across a march or some such. Having experienced the French & Belgian police managing marches, I can say how incredibly lucky we are to have polite police, who shouldn’t be faced with this.

In Dec the head of the Campaign Against Antisemitism charity explained to MPs the pro Palestinian marches should be banned

In Nov that charity had accused EVERYONE on the marches of being complicit in supporting Hamas & inciting racial hatred against Jews

Here the CAA says Sky News “obtained” this footage. But where did Sky News get it from?!? Everyone knows the answer. So much manipulation going on. Stunts and manipulation.

Jessica Simor KC Fact is, there’s elements from all camps that have been trying to paint the Met as biased to one side: either antisemitic or Islamophobic.

Meanwhile, the Met has gone above and beyond to keep Londoners safe during these protests.

The job is hard enough without this nonsense.
