Big weekend campaigning in Cross Gates and Whinmoor. Over 60,000 steps / 60 kilometres walked, delivering leaflets and postal vote letters with Luke Murrow 🌹 and Jack Ballingham 🚩. Feeling a bit tired now 😴😂.

Door knocking in the cold with food poisoning, I wouldn't recommend it 😂. Still, always great to be out with our fabulous WYM @tracybrabin. Really positive response to Tracy's transport and infrastructure initiatives! Thanks to everyone who came out, including Richard Burgon MP.

This is an absolutely fantastic decision.

The issues of late and missed buses, old fleet and the public already thinking the Council/Mayor runs the buses will only be resolved by public control.

It’s been a busy weekend of campaigning in East Leeds!

We’ve been out delivering my residents’ report in Killingbeck, Seacroft, Crossgates and Whinmoor.

And we launched the local election campaigns of Helen Hayden and James Gibson, where it was great to be joined by Alex Sobel!

The Tories are rudderless and more interested in plotting to oust their leaders than running the country. Local councils like Leeds are having to pick up the pieces. Prudent stewardship by Leeds Council has meant the jobs growth rate in Leeds has outpaced the national average.

Sadiq Khan once again showing what Labour can do in power 👏👏.
